about thin air |

So you're really interested in who we are? We're a group of guys (and gals) who just want to make the web a better place. Not a better place like AmeriCorps or PeaceCorps, more superficial, like make it prettier. Have you seen the web lately? There's some ugly stuff out there. We don't necessarily want to name names but if for some reason you ever receive a cold call from us, there's probably a reason why.
With a combined 200+ years in age (notice we didn't say experience) we've got a collective knowledge of a few things. Making you look good on the web just happens to be one of those. We're also pretty good with fixing mountain bikes, sipping mai tai's, and the occasional deep-frying of turkeys but we really don't list those things as services we offer. Though if you happen to be willing to pay us to sip mai tai's, I am sure we could find the time! Thin Air's been around a few years. We liken ourselves to Wally from Leave it Beaver. While everyone wants to be the star of the show, the Beaver was just too young and naive. We're not him. We're also not Eddie Haskell, the neighborhood trouble maker. We're Wally, the educated, well-intentioned, older son that everybody knew they could lean upon. Headed up by owners Marc "with-a-c" and Alowetta "don't-worry-we-didn't-get-it-right-the-first-time-either" Terrien, Thin Air is charging full force through the first decade of the 21st century. With 25 years of Western Colorado under their belt, they're pretty good at knowing the pulse of all that happens. Keeping us all in check is our man from the Dakota north, Cole Stanford. His original title of "Master of all things server related and holder down of fort" was just too long for the business card so we stuck him with Operations Director. His hobbies include log-rolling, snow shoveling, and fielding calls from a couple of angry customers (you know who you are!) Soaking up the sun 11 months out of the year is our Creative Director, Christian Ross. Choosing to avoid utter cold of Colorado is the excuse given, but we often wonder if it's the lure of the big city lights and 4 major sports teams that keep him in the general vicinity of Dallas/Ft Worth. He loves bass fishing in the Outdoor World fish tank and somehow prefers to drive 15 miles just to stick it out with the same old bank. At $3.30 a gallon, no less. Stir a few contractors into the recipe and we are really cooking. Hit us up anytime. Business hours preferably. Swing by the store and check on Cole. Make sure he is putting those new speakers/subwoofer to good use. In fact, check on him for us just to make sure he's not jamming Ricky Martin again while we're out. No more, Cole. If you made it this far, thanks. If you have something to say, say it. If you think you've got what it takes to breath where the air is a little thinner, let us know. |
